Because in the 100°s during the day and 60°s or 70°s at night really sucks for me. I hope you all are having a “good day” (whatever that means for you - maybe no extra painkillers is a good day)

(No real diagnosis, just hypermobility, chronic back/SI joint/hip pain for the past decade and extreme weather changes hurt like a b!tch)

Thanks for listening/reading.

Oh man, This summer was baaaad for me. The temperature was doing the same here. Up and down, dry then humid. My body yearns for autumn.

It was in the 100s here last week - today it’s in the low 60s and dreary (I like the dreary/overcast days, but this time it hurts). That much of a swing means my nerves and joints (mostly in my hips and adjacent areas) are … I don’t know, screaming sounds overly dramatic, but the constant buzzing and muscle fatigue makes it hard to walk, so maybe protesting loudly is about right?

Plus using a heating pad every day when it’s 105°F outside, and the a/c is having a hard time keeping it in the 80s, and my achy body requires the heating pad… Yeah, ugh.

Hope you get some relief soon!

I’m sorry to hear this ): I’ve only been suffering from chronic pain the past year so I don’t have enough experience with it to determine how weather affects it. I hope you’ve been feeling better since this post!
